7/27/2025 Recently, I was glad to research (w my husband) a little in the book of Ecclesiastes. We talked together through a verse on “be not righteous over much”, and talked about what that might mean. “Be not righteous over much: neither make thyself overwise; why shouldest thou destroy thyself?” (Ecclesiastes 7:16). This was written by King Solomon, noted as the wisest man who ever lived.
In the discussion, it was good to think about what some godly men, theologians from the 17th century, had to say about it. Here is a recording of that; please watch and if you like, let me know what you think about it.
