10/31/2023 What a good thing it is to reflect on what God accomplishes in his saints. ☺ The Reformation season of remembering Luther, John Hus, John Wycliffe and even the basic good tenets of Protestantism is worth reflection and celebration. We stumbled upon an older film produced by a college group. 🎦 It is a good movie produced by Bob Jones University which I thought very done very well. It is a heart-gripping, Faith-building, and conscience-fortifying film that was made to show the problem of “heresy” that those falsely termed and classified as heretics lost their titles, lives, and families. We learn that Catholics ➕ were facing persecution in their own cloisters from Catholic hierarchies and monasteries before/during the Reformation times.

I think that thought the story on the 📼 film is fascinating, its good to recall that though Christians don’t all share the same fate as being burned at the stake, or being imprisoned, there should be no doubt that “everyone who wants to live a godly life ⛪ in Christ Jesus will be persecuted” (2 Timothy 3:12). God help is to be as brave as those souls who labor, and live(d) godly lives or die godly deaths for our Lord Jesus.
