06/12/2024 Occasionally, I get great info in my emails that is worth the second click, and I thought that this article from Interesting Facts, was very insightful. I did not realize that the first vending machine did not dispense snacks or goods like detergent and cigarettes, but actually dispensed Holy Water! Honestly, I do like the idea of holy water, but had not concluded fully how I feel about it. I know that people anoint their homes with oil πͺ and prayer π, and I believe fully that that is a good practice for Christians.

But, I am a little foggy with holy water. In my honest opinion, as of now I can see no fault in it, if it helps in an exorcism, because I know the name of Jesus is what really delivers. In saying that, I also do hold personally that a crucifix in the home is really effective. When it comes to demons, I know its a desparate thing, and maybe its nieve, but I almost just want to say “Whatever it takes, use Jesus’ name and whatever means necessary to deliver a soul, be it holy water, crucifix, etc.
A gentleman named Hero of Alexandria is credited with this invention that was to be placed in temples. Picture from Wikipedia of the Greek mathematician:

My understanding of Christian symbols is pretty exhaustive, as I do believe the kingdom of God is much about symbols, and since Jesus referred to “water” in an elevated way several times, like if we believe (In Jesus) as Scripture has said (John 7:38), then “out of our bellies would flow streams of living water“. And that “living water from which we would never thirst” was offered to the woman at the well.

So, anyway, here is the article: “
Another great article on the topic with good information is this article by Australian Broadcasting Corporation: “The first vending machine dispensed holy water, not Coke“
Have a great day π βοΈ
