11/11/24 Recently, I’ve wanted to start viewing Facebook as a means of sharing the gospel more, and less of using it as a means of wasting time. It’s good to have access to so many people’s eyes and ears, but would I really take the extra step to visit them, or to call them in person. Why is it, I’m too content to just look at the screen, and feel like I’m socially approved by God, when I fear (as of late) that its actually quite the opposite.

So, I’ve looked into Christian channels where people are reaching out, asking hard questions, and these need prayer, time, research and heart-felt sincerity to answer. Lord, please let me use the resources you’ve supplied for me, as though I really want to save people into Heaven, and deliver them from the hell the world offers.

Here is a conversation that I am having with a dear saint, P*. I am not disclosing her name for protection and privacy but her question posed is one I think I can use as a learning point.

Here is the question my fried P* posed, and also how I felt God gave me the words to answer to her.

P*’s Question on Facebook:

P*: I tried warning my Hindu mom that if she doesn’t repent and accept Jesus and the only One she will go to hell but she didn’t take it seriously

I don’t know what to do

It brings be no hope and comfort that our unsaved loved ones will continue to reject Christ until the day they die.

My response: “Hello P* I bless you for reaching out, I will think about a good way to respond. I know that if your Mom is of Hindu belief, that there are millions of Hindu gods, and not sure if it will help (bc I do believe you did the right thing to warn her of Hell) but since she already is spiritual, and most Hindu people are, because of the transcendental nature of subjecting the mind to other gods, my thought was what if you tried to find ways to highlight the way many demons, many other gods that is, bring havoc to your life instead of hope for eternal life. There are many other little g gods and those are demons., but Jesus came only to bring life and life to the full. “Mom, are your demons promising you eternal life, and only leaving you with peace and contentment in your identity. What is it that is keeping you a Hindu, could you tell me that?” I only have a little to contribute on the thought but have been to India and I can tell you that their gods (that is the Hindu gods) leave them in poverty, confusions, sometimes mental illness, and destruction. People that knowing the spirit realm is real, they crave to have a REAL experience, and if you could tell her, that Christ DOES offer that, its just that He is one God (Deuteronomy 6:4) and not a million gods, so she has MUCH LESS to worry about (w Him) lol and that is what Jesus desires, that she not have to worry about her soul, but know her soul is precious to Jesus, and he died for her, can her gods tell her that they would die for her? Hope this helps, love in Christ alone P*,”
