03/10/25 When I was about 22 years old, and my fiancee and I were getting ready to get married, we came upon this movie. (I think I remembered it rightly.) I was learning about the history of the Anabaptists, who were a group that had convictions that babies should not be baptized, in the sense of post-conversion baptism; because they were not able to have the understanding of a person that would have “come of age” or have an alertness to the idea of personal accountability. In other words, the idea was presented that a baby was no more able to speak of their salvation at the age of being an infant, as they are to carry on discourse beyond babbling. It is so because they had not the brevity and grasp of thought the same as an adult would. It’s pretty reasonable to consider that a person who has been born again, would have the ability to exercise their free will, to live for Christ as Lord, and follow Him for the rest of their days. As it is, they (babies) have not even been taught how to communicate yet. So, this movie was one that we watched several times, and was a great retelling of how some of the Anabaptists paid very dearly for their convictions, having felt strongly enough to die for the truth.

Please enjoy this movie, and I pray that we all have the same resolve to live for Christ as boldly as some have died for Him! https://youtu.be/iGGwEj3JlcE
