05/02/2025 In the last week and a half, John has been reviewing a minister he had kept an eye on for about 15 years or more. When we were first married, this guy was teaching about the Holy Spirit’s presence being close, but he started to loosen the reigns in his sticking to Bible doctrine; now, what he teaches is seeping with sly falsity. In the video, John and I speak to the issues that John Crowder gives in a 15 minute teaching on universalism, and how he came to believe in it, because his ideas “seemed orthodox” and what he thought “tended to make sense”.

Some of what he says doesn’t follow itself, so its hard to know what he really believes, but it sounds like he doesn’t hold to the necessary tenet of the doctrine of hell and eternal punishment. He chastises ministers who preach repentance, and he also speaks low of people who aren’t as educated as him, who “cannot understand universalism like he can”. Anyway, here’s a better demonstration of the issue in the video than in this typing. Please watch the video, and John and I both tried to honestly assess, and do pray for John Crowder to give Himself back to God, (go and be alone with God as he used to so boldly profess Christians should do), and stop spreading doctrines to suit his stained conscience.

Here is the link to the actual article John did on his blog Blog Link Universalism.
