In this video, “I Left ‘Left Behind’ Behind”, Kirk Cameron is interviewed on how he finds God’s call for boldness and strength in carrying his cross; and a minister named Caleb interviewed him. There are several good ideas in this video, in the first half or so, that were not yet about Kirk’s stance with the “end-times”, and Caleb and Kirk get to reflect and share in the Lord together how God wants us to be victorious and understand what good can come from being obedient to God’s will. Probably about 20 years ago now, a movie came out called “Left Behind” from the Tim Lahaye “Left Behind” series, that was a dizzying read/movie for Christians who were trying to figure out what the end times would be like for the antiChrist “coming on the scene”, so to speak.

I find that I don’t believe the exact same about the rapture as I did 20 years ago, personally either, because of some passages I’ve meditated and chewed on since then. And anyone reading the books of Daniel or Revelation in integrity and honesty, could easily see that the end of the world is not something easily perceived or even communicated. But we should try, nonetheless. And the good idea that was left at the end, in the video was that, the gospel of Jesus Christ is the most powerful force in the earth to save souls.
