12/29/2025 This evening we were able to watch one of our favorite programs. On Episode 6 of season 23 of Unsolved Mysteries, there were stories of angelic proportions. The first story, a devout Mom gets an impression suddenly during her daily bible reading, that her daughter is out somewhere away from her about to die. She didn’t know where or how, but the Mom cried out to the Lord for Him to spare her life. Meanwhile, on the roadtrip with what must have been family or friends, the daughter, slips off the side of a mountain face, and is suspended from sliding off the rock face of the mountain. The daughter felt like another force was holding her up. The Mom on the other side of the state/country, had no idea where the daughter was, but was lead in prayer to go to the Bible – Psalms 91. Verse 91:11-12 says “For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone”. An angel literally held up the daughter on the mountain and the daughter who mysteriously was held in place, and then also knew she didn’t get back up the mountain on her own, was sure that this really did happen! The second story followed on that video, right after the first angel rescue, was the story of Estela Vera, who was saved by angel from getting killed by a speeding truck. Her story is here, but please do watch both accounts on the video.
Even though I hope my site of articles and blog entries ultimately points people to Jesus Christ, it seems very uplifting, profitable, and good to post this about these angels that are ministering spirits. They help us in times of need, and they are subject to God and the Son Jesus. “(Christ) who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, angels and authorities and powers have been made subject to Him” (1 Peter 3:22).
