09/22/2024 Last night, we were able to watch a wonderful film on a saint I had heard about, and seen a little bit about before. My husband vigorously studies the saints of Church history where he sees integrity in the person – whether it’s Protestant, Catholic, or whatever brand. If the gospel of Jesus and His teachings are the thrust, there is good to be found in gleaning from the lives of those who have come before us. We owe it to God to know some of his saints. Many in the Protestant, Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, and Untitled groups, live for Christ as earnestly as they know how! St. Joseph of Cupertino was one such saint. He was slower in wit, but it is clear in the film and in his story that he was abused all his life. It seems to be that this abuse was rough, so to me it was not hard to understand how he obtained such innocence! The people he dealt with in his journey I would say were 96% of the time, cruel and readily quick to ignore that God could use any individual he so desired! In the film, this fellow who was not given much of a chance at life was grafted into a monastery-type role, demoted as a lay-brother to a stable boy, and found joy in being with the animals! He was indeed appointed as a priest due to much grace shown to him from a “patron in high office”, and as a saint, he did fly due to many credible accounts! But his joy was always in God! Anywayz, please watch the free film by clicking on the video image.

The video is “St. Joseph of Cupertino The Reluctant Saint” https://youtu.be/eXxOLNRBdXw
(I have not read much about it, but tried to take the main points from the film, presuming that they are “true essentially to the details of his life”). Please view the film and watch a saint fly to be closer to God!
Enjoy! You surely will!
