If a brother or sister is set free from intense persecution, it is good to rejoice for them and for their families! Not only are we supposed to pray for them in prison as in “Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body” (Hebrews 13:3), but also we are taught to “rejoice with those who rejoice” (Romans 12:15). It is such a blessing to live in America with a freedom of religious congregation, or tolerance to Christian religion. Here is a report of Ezra Jin that was in prison for about 8 months or so, in China, for running an “underground church”. That means he ran a church without sanctioning by the government or permission by the traditional institutional authorities. But the Christians in the church of Jesus have prayed for him, and his daughter worked hard to see he was released, and so did President Trump of the U.S. So, after 266, he was set free! Praise be to God, and may He continue to be very fruitful for God! I’m sure his heart is with the others in China who need the gospel and anywhere!
