08/21/2026 This past week I had a few hours to study at a sweet window seat, and was reflecting on the love of God. The presence of God is supreme and because of the blood of Jesus, we get to approach the throne of grace with confidence. “Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:16). Our audience of One, or three if you’re thinking Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – is the focal point of our desire. By gazing at Him, the Scriptures, or His good marvelous works, we can find heaven now: “Let your eyes look directly forward, and let your gaze be straight before you” (Proverbs 4:25). We must make every effort to enter that holy rest where obedience is. “Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience” (Hebrew 4:11).
