1/7/23 This is a wonderful film based on a book I read in college – In His Steps,by Robert Sheldon. We were assigned to read it in one of our classes. It is the story of a young girl from a church that has a born-again experience, as several others in the church do, too. No surprise, the movement is related to helping people in poverty and (as a church family) on the rough side of town, and being brought out of a clouded, complacent mindset. It’s a black and white film, and though it’s short, it’s unforgettable. Please take an hour and a half to really digest this movie, if you get a chance! It’s wonderful!
