06/09/2026 This was an excellent video I was able to watch because I have wondered about the topics in the video. Alyssa Childers is an accomplised teacher and does a good job being sobriety to some of the issues of progressive Christianity that face Christians today, kids and older, all groups. I have found some really great women teachers on youtube with resources for helping your family in deepening faith in Christ, and I do appreciate this one. In the video she is interviewing with Everyday Educator podcast and group leader Amy Jones and co-host as well, Emma Bortins. They are working to defend the faith where needed, and being able to articulate what they believe in a world seeking the truth, and the true answers. I found the video to be very enlightening and it helped me to fine tune some ideas, but especially around 45 minutes in, Alyssa does comments about parents needing to be able to articulate what they believe, so their children can see the example of that.

The parents do the homework of facing the issues of conscience, praying and sifting with Scriptures, always with the Word of God first. Parents must walk of line of being able to answer conscience questions, and it doesn’t have to be formal or complicated, just based on the truth of Jesus. Then they present the ideas that their kids are asking about anway, and God creates a beautiful work in the home because of it. She wasn’t expounding on that idea so much in the video but did comment about how the teaching of progressive Christianity speculatively* has come from instructions from “Mom’s”. I want to leave a legacy of Scripture. Please watch this video, and be encouraged.
